Abraham: THE LAW OF ATTRACTION AND GAY RIGHTS – Esther & Jerry Hicks

Abraham – who is Non-Physical Source Energy as translated by Esther Hicks – responds to a question from a lesbian activist who wants to affect social change in a meaningful “downstream” way. Recorded February 9th, 2008 in San Rafael, California. Esther & Jerry Hicks are the authors of numerous books based on the Teachings of Abraham and their latest book, “Money and The Law of Attraction”, reached #1 on the New York Times bestseller list. For over 20 years, Esther has translated blocks of thought from “Non-Physical Source Energy” – which she also identifies as her “Inner Being” or “Soul” – and who refer to themselves in the plural as “Abraham” (no relation to the Biblical figure). Esther doesn’t use the word “channeling” to describe her process, but understands if others do. stop looking at what is just long enough to imagine what can be. Lets look at how it can be now, and then take action in whatever form we can along the path of least resistance!!! I GET IT!!

Even more amazing than the video, I think, are the responses of the people who are making comments. As someone who works with and dearly loves many gay people in my workplace, but is surrounded in my personal life by those who believe they’re immoral, evil, sinful…you name it…it is such a RELIEF to see that so many people respond so positively to Abraham’s message! It gives me so much hope for our future!!

that was inspiring! as a gay person I see my activist duty and dream like how she had just described it. I visioned change and believe in it. I live it and express it, i have dream along with millions of others that i believe firmly that nothing can stop us from attaining it and it is strong. Her speech is inspiring and motivating, positive and strong.

I love how Abraham used that bit of humor “They don’t like eachother either” to make everyone feel better about what the woman had just said. Abraham always knows just the right thing to say!

I have said similar stuff in gay discussions, but unfortunately a lot of the gay world is tied up with trying to change laws and stuff…

I SO TOTALLY GET THIS!!! Hold your vision!!! Do not disperse your focus or energy on what isn’t. That’s what de-energizes the very change you want! โ™ฅ
